Sullivan County Volunteer Fireman's Association
Volunteer Appreciation Picnic
June 29, 2013 / 4-8pmCome
join us for an evening full of fun. This event is our way of saying
thank you to all the Sullivan County volunteer firefighters and rescue
squad members, and their families, for all that they do. We will be
serving hotdogs and hamburgers, with all the trimmings, drinks,
snow cones, popcorn and more. We will have games and inflatables for the
kids. We will also have country and southern rock band Highway 72
(4-6pm) and bluegrass band Duty Free (6-8pm) providing music. This event
is free, we just ask that you sport your department's t-shirt and come
out and enjoy. There is limited seating, so bring a blanket or folding
chair. Every department should have a sign up sheet for you to register you and your family. We look forward to seeing you there!

Trainings & Events
The Association proudly hosts the East Tennessee Fire Rescue Conference each fall for fire departments and rescue squads in the area.
However, throughout the year there are often other training opportunities. Departments are encouraged to post upcoming trainings or events at their department here so that other agencies may attend. Please include all the important information in your post, including: class name, cost (if any), registration deadline, and contact name and number.
Our SCBA Confidence Tractor and Trailer has been painted from the deck down, generator installed, and is currently being vinyl wrapped and having all the electrical installed. Thanks to VFIS, Brooks Collision and Precision Electric for helping us with this project. We plan to bring it to our Volunteer Appreciation Picnic for everyone to see.
