About Us

The purpose of membership in this Association shall be to assist one another in preventing fires, to exchange ideas of equipment and methods of fighting fires, and to protect the lives and property of our respective areas in case of fire or any other emergency.

Trainings & Events

The Association proudly hosts the East Tennessee Fire Rescue Conference each fall for fire departments and rescue squads in the area.

However, throughout the year there are often other training opportunities. Departments are encouraged to post upcoming trainings or events at their department here so that other agencies may attend. Please include all the important information in your post, including: class name, cost (if any), registration deadline, and contact name and number.

Our next Association meeting will be at Avoca VFD on March 21, 2013.

We've acquired a trailer to be used as a mobile SCBA maze and confidence course. Plans for the maze layout are in the works and we hope the trailer will be done before summer.
